Mission

The mission of ICPD is to contribute to the achievement of stable and sustainable development of civilization through the consolidation of international scientific, educational, economic and cultural ties between Russia and the international academic community.

Goals

to promote University-to-University partnerships, particularly among the youth scientific and academic communities;
to provide independent expert analysis on the most pressing international challenges:

a) the ones specific to MEPhI (nuclear non-proliferation, building a context and culture of nuclear cooperation, etc.);

b) other global challenges faced by modern civilization;

to promote scientific achievements using social networks, especially for subsequent implementation and use among students and young scholars;
to organize diplomatic workshops and business communication for students and young scientists in the University’s cultural environment;
to involve civil society institutions for implementation of the principles of public diplomacy.
